Yesterday we were working on a experimental land with TEF.

The Spanish goverment is trying to plant TEF (eragrostis TEF) a african crop, original from Ethiopia.

The problem is the small small seed to harvest.

The crop was not dry enought but the autum rains is coming so it was necessary to harvest it as soon as possible.

We Took off the air Belt for the moment but CLAAS will send a special KIT for LEXION to stop the air engine, without ring the bell in the cab.

interesting crop, with no GLUTEN and a lot of oligoelements.

the straw can be used as a high quality forage. It can be ensiled or dryed to be packed..

We were harvesting it with a lexion 530. pictures are on the way… come later… now it work time

I was looking last sunday a show where I found this antique machine. WOW, It looks ready for work 🙂

The conservation status is bad, but the painting was original. Machine should have around 50 years, I think, but I am not sure.

It was the New Holland CR9090 Elevation, as you can see in the videos section, but now, the Harsenwinkel guys make it again, with the certification by the Guinness Book of Records.

The farmer, Keith Challen, has harvested 532 tons of wheat in 8 hours, which is a 18 percent more than the old record.
